Quick update!

My New Space

I’ve just realized that I never posted anything about opening my own shop. Last year, I decided to set out on my own and opened a small salon in my home. I’m pleased as could be to have my little space, and it’s been working very well for me. There are still finishing touches to wrap up, but it’s a pretty spiffy room.

Masks and Vaccinations

While I’m phasing out my requirement for vaccination, I’m continuing to require masks. I will probably keep my mask requirement indefinitely, because it’s been so lovely to not get sneezed or coughed on. You are welcome to take a drink of water or bite of food if you need, but plan to wear your mask otherwise.

Pricing Adjustment

I’ve found that my Relaxation services are taking longer than previously planned, so I am adjusting them accordingly. If you’ve been getting the Relaxation Pedicure, you will see a $15 increase. If you’d prefer to keep your price point, you can switch to the Express + Callus. It does not include the scrub and hot towels.

My Schedule

I’m shifting my days to Monday through Thursday, with Sundays and after hours reserved for those who cannot book during my standard 10-6 weekdays. They will not be offered, but rather by request. I have been finding Sundays to generally be less critical for most of my clients with the increased flexibility of work-from-home, and I would love to have those days with my family. If it seems that Sundays are necessary, then I will likely add them back in.
